Great news for those applying for a U.S. visa! The U.S. Embassy in the Philippines has announced the opening of a new Visa Application Center (VAC) at Parqal Building 8, Level 3, Parqal Mall in Parañaque City.
Starting September 28, 2024, all immigrant and nonimmigrant visa applicants requiring an interview must schedule a separate appointment at the VAC for biometric data collection (photo and fingerprints) before their interview at the U.S. Embassy on Roxas Boulevard.
Applicants who have already scheduled their visa interviews before September 28 will not be affected by this update and can proceed directly to their embassy appointment.
The new VAC will operate Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM and Saturdays from 7 AM to 11 AM. Appointments must be scheduled through the updated online system, available via the U.S. Travel Docs website.
